How MoonGypsea Uses QR Codes to Grow Their Business

MoonGypsea is an online store that sells handmade jewelry and accessories inspired by the ocean. The company uses QR codes to promote their products, track customer engagement, and drive sales.

Promoting Products

MoonGypsea uses QR codes to promote their products on social media, in print advertising, and on their website. When a customer scans a QR code, they are taken to a landing page where they can learn more about the product and purchase it.

Tracking Customer Engagement

MoonGypsea uses QR codes to track customer engagement on their website. When a customer scans a QR code, the company can track the date and time of the scan, as well as the device that was used to scan the code. This information can help MoonGypsea to understand how customers are finding their website and what products they are interested in.

Driving Sales

When a customer scans a QR code, they are often presented with a coupon or discount code that they can use to save money on their purchase. MoonGypsea is:

Handmade jewelry with soul

Each MoonGypsea design is handcrafted with love and care, giving each piece a personal touch and uniqueness. Not a mass-produced item—each piece tells its own story.

Mediterranean inspiration from the sea

My collections are inspired by the beauty of the sea, the lightness of the beach, the moon as a symbol of the tides, and the freedom of the boho lifestyle. Shells, pearls, and natural materials are at the heart of my designs, bringing a little piece of the sea to your home.

Sustainability and respect for the environment

I place great importance on sustainable materials and ethical production. Many of my pieces are made from recycled metals or eco-friendly materials to protect our planet's resources.

Unique designs that tell stories

My pieces of jewelry such as necklaces , earrings , rings or suncatchers are not just accessories - they are small works of art that bring harmony, lightness and the sea into your life.

Individuality for your look

No two pieces of jewelry are alike – natural materials like freshwater pearls or shells, as well as handcrafted craftsmanship, make each design unique. To express your individuality.

Lightness you can feel

MoonGypsea jewelry combines beauty with the sea. Whether suncatchers that transform the sun's rays into colorful light effects or shell jewelry that inspires peace and serenity – my pieces are more than just jewelry; they are pure Mediterranean lightness.

A feeling of freedom

MoonGypsea represents the desire for freedom, adventure, and a life in harmony with nature. My jewelry will accompany you on your journey—whether it's a stroll on the beach or a special event.

Perfect as a gift with meaning

My designs are thoughtfully packaged, lovingly packaged and ideal as a gift for anyone who loves the sea, is a dreamer or simply wants to bring a bit of sunshine into their everyday life.

A community that connects

With MoonGypsea, you're part of a community that shares a love of the sea, individuality, and freedom. My customers are globetrotters, nature lovers, and creative spirits—and this is reflected in my designs.

Who is behind MoonGypsea?

Aloha, I'm Vanessa, the founder and designer of MoonGypsea. For me, MoonGypsea is like a day at the beach with friends, or sitting in the lineup at sunset and enjoying the moment. Feeling the sand and salt on my skin and letting the sea breeze blow through my hair. Simply the sea.

My training as a fashion and design assistant was my first step into the world of creativity. I've always been drawn to unusual shapes and materials, and aesthetics is more than just a concept for me—it's a way of life.

This passion has led me into the jewelry industry, where I can indulge my love of detail and craftsmanship. Through regular goldsmithing courses, I continually deepen my knowledge and am inspired by new techniques and ideas to create pieces of jewelry that tell stories.

As a passionate surfer and nature lover, it is important to me to live as environmentally conscious as possible and to implement this philosophy in my company.

My thoughts constantly revolve around the ocean, and I want to share my passion for it with others. Fairness and good working conditions are particularly important to me, and at the moment, MoonGypsea is still largely a one-woman show.

Materials

The natural materials used include freshwater pearls, gemstones, cowrie shells, and other shells. Freshwater pearls are cultured pearls grown in rivers or lakes, while cowrie shells and other shells are natural materials found in the ocean. These materials give the jewelry a natural and tropical look.

The silver jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver (largely recycled), which means it is made of an alloy containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals such as copper.

The gold jewelry is made of 24k gold-plated sterling silver, meaning a layer of 24-carat gold has been applied to the silver. This gives the jewelry a luxurious and elegant look.

Help us protect the oceans

Unfortunately, our oceans are now full of plastic waste, and many animals, as well as the ocean itself, are suffering greatly as a result. That's why it's important to me to contribute to cleaning and preserving our oceans and nature. Every donation, no matter how small, can help, which is why €1 from every MoonGypsea sale goes to a marine conservation organization or projects to clean them up.
